Women on the Web explores how the Internet has changed the lives of everyday women by providing unparalleled access to information and the ability to connect with people. While not all women regularly use the Internet, its very existence has profoundly influenced American culture. This exhibit examines these effects while exploring how women use the Internet in ways that are different from men. Readers are encouraged to reflect upon how the Internet has made a difference to them personally.

National Women’s History Museum would like to thank Verizon for its generous support of this project.
